BEGINNING OF THE PARTNERSHIP WITH QATAR AIRWAYS

01/11/2021

On October 31, Sheremetyevo International Airport handled the first flight of Qatar Airways arriving from Doha. Qatar Airways is one of the youngest, fast-growing and most renowned airlines in the world.

Qatar Airways was founded in 1993. Having started its activity as a small regional carrier, in 2003 the airline already operated 28 aircrafts, and by October 2006 increased their number to 50. Today, the fleet of Qatar Airways amounts to more than 200 aircrafts flying to 150 destinations on all 6 continents of the world.

In 2011, Qatar Airways won the title of "The World's Best Airline" for the first time awarded by the influential British agency Skytrax. Since then, the airline has been honored with the highest rank 5 more times - in 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021 - thus becoming the absolute record holder in this nomination. Qatar Airways was also one of the first to receive a five-star Skytrax rating. The rating is awarded and annually updated by the agency since 1999, however, over the 22-year history of its development, only 11 air carriers were awarded 5 stars.

Qatar Airways is the second five-star airline to choose Moscow Cargo as its handling agent. Throughout the year - from June 2020 to June 2021 - Moscow Cargo handled cargo-only flights of the Emirates airline, carried out within the framework of the cargo charter programme specially organized by the carrier. It should be noted that Emirates has consistently highly appreciated the quality of services we provide and the responsible approach of Moscow Cargo to its partners and customers.

The fact that such demanding companies entrust us their cargo is the best proof of our reliability, efficiency and professionalism. We appreciate Qatar Airways for their trust and invite our customers to take advantage of the new logistics opportunities.

AirCargoPro is the airline's GSA.

The procedure for handling settlements on Qatar Airways flights is presented in the Rates section.
