MOSCOW CARGO - PARTICIPANT OF THE BUSINESS PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL «WEEK OF VIETNAM»

From 17 to 23 April, the Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation hosts the Vietnam Week festival, aimed at strengthening multilateral cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. The festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV). A series of the events under the general title «Frontiers of Southeast Asia: Vietnam - Gateway to Asia» includes business, scientific, technical and cultural programs.

On April 20, as a part of the business program of the festival, a round table «New transport routes between the Russian Federation and Vietnam» was held, in which the leading enterprises of the transport industry of the two countries took part: employees of «Sheremetyevo International Airport» JSC and Moscow Cargo LLC, heads of FESCO and «RZD Logistics» JSC, representatives of Vietnamese logistics organizations and the employees of the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia.

Opening the event, Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation Duong Hoang Minh expressed hope for the early resumption of direct air traffic, the restoration of the tourist flow and the strengthening of trade and economic ties between Vietnam and Russia.

The participants of the round table discussed topical issues and constraining factors in advancing relations in the field of transport and logistics, exchanged experience in solving the logistics problems of air communication between Moscow and Hanoi, and considered further prospects for joint work.
